Hopscotch is a playtime and mothers group for families in the community.
The purpose of Hopscotch is to create a place where caregivers and children have the opportunity to develop relationships with each other. We endeavour to love, support and encourage parents during the joys and hardships of parenting. The age group is 0-5 yrs old.
We invite parents and carers to try out Hopscotch on the first week before registering to ensure this playtime meets their needs and to get to know some of the other participants.
Term Dates 2017
What we do at Hopscotch
Each week there is morning tea, some structured activity time (e.g. craft, song, painting), a story time and there is informal playtime.
There is also an extensive library of books, DVD and CDs which you can borrow each week for your kids at no cost.
Each term parents will be asked to participate in helping out with a morning tea or craft activity. A roster goes out each term to coordinate this and any other events or activities that are on.
We can also help out with Baby dedications, Parenting Workshops, Small Groups, have special nights out and whole Family activities.
The Cost is $25 per term.
